2f vi). Expound on the concept of educational visits  in relation to the teaching of History and Government

Educational Visits

These are visits by learners to venues of learning through which they (learners)

come into first-hand contact with people, places and things around them.

Through these visits, learners are involved in the following: listening, interviewing and observing people in action, examining real things e.g. tools, reports and other documents and participating in community affairs. ‘

Below is a list of some topics in history, which could be taught effectively using educational visits.
