Characteristics of good questions

For questions to be rated as good, they must be:

  • Meaningful and relevant. ^-
  • Definite and direct.
  • Clear and coherent.
  • Simple but challenging enough and thought-provoking.
  • Suitable to the age, level and the ability of the learners.
  • Concise and to the point.
  • Interesting and within the experience of the learners.
